Our late season mule deer and whitetail deer hunts
are from lower areas, which are located in the foothills of the
Canadian Rockies. Hunts are hosted from rustic cabins which are
supplied with wood stoves, bed and a foam mattress.

Grosso Outfitting offers two types of mule deer hunt. The locals
this type of deer the 'mountain mulies. The hunts are described
below:
- High
Country Mule Deer
This is a ten-day mule deer hunt in Alberta's high country.
Hunters will ride horseback to base camp. Base camp consists of
sleeping tents equipped with cots, wood burning stoves, and a
large cook tent. The camp cook provides plenty of good camp food.
This is a spot and stalk hunt on horseback. These high mountain
'mulies' make excellent trophies. Every hunter has his or her
own personal guide.

Late Season Mule Deer:
This mule deer hunt is a one-week hunt, with six hunting days.
This hunt is a late season mule deer hunt. They have good racks
averaging 22 - 24 inches. Mule deer hunts are spot and stalk hunts
with calling. Horses are used with the 'mulie' hunt, however,
hunters may have to travel by foot as well. A personal guide will
be assigned to each hunter.

Deer are the world's most popular game animals. Grosso
Outfitting offers bow hunts for whitetail deer in the Alberta
Rocky Mountain wilderness. Hunts are fully guided. Our
late season whitetail deer hunts are in lower elevations. Hunts
are hosted from rustic cabins, which are supplied with wood stoves,
bed and a foam mattress. Our whitetail deer hunts are from tree
stands with calling and rattling. Horses will sometimes be used.
Hunters may also drive and then walk to the stand location. These
locations are pre scouted with infrared cameras. Stands are located
along high travel ways and feeding areas. Our whitetail average
20 inches with an average score of 155-160 Pope &Young.
The archery whitetail deer hunt is a one-week hunt, with six hunting
days. This hunt is a late season whitetail deer hunt. Grosso Outfitting
hunts in west central Alberta where record book deer are harvested
every year. Guides are experienced and know the country well.
Every archery hunter will have a personal guide.
